A mix of open pollinated seeds from the cultivars: Hayatama, Shinseiki, Chojuro and Shinko Asian pears.

Pyrus pyrifolia is a species of pear tree native to East Asia. The fruit tends to be quite large and fragrant. The flesh of the fruit is crisp, white, sweet and incredibly juicy. Some varieties have tropical or butterscotch like flavours when fully ripe. High in vitamins C and K, and rich in fibre, they are often sliced and added to salads, baked into pies, and enjoyed as snacks. Kept in a cold, dry place some asian pears can store for several weeks or more.

Growing:
Soak your seeds for 24 hours. Place into semi-moist peat moss or sand and place into fridge to cold stratify for 90 days. Plant stratified seeds in pots or a nursery bed using standard potting soil, protected from pests and rodents.
