Moroccan Mint

$10.00
sold out

Latin name: Mentha spicata var. crispa 'Moroccan'
Uses: Edible, Medicinal
Lifecycle: Perennial (zones 5-11)

Moroccan mint is a perennial which spreads by creeping rhizomes. The leaves are bright green and crinkled with a clear, sweet, mint flavour. It is commonly used in Moroccan cuisine, in stews, soups, salads, jelly and sauces. Mint tea is also used in herbal remedies for digestive issues.

Mint tends to spread rapidly and can take over a garden plot, so it is often grown in containers.

We grow a variety of mint cultivars and this is one of our favourites!

*Local sales only
(Pick up in Dartmouth, NS or Delivery within HRM for $10)
